Your mission will be to drive growth by showcasing our farm management services to farmers, investors, real estate companies, and food manufacturers. Additionally, you'll be responsible for selling the high-quality produce from our farms to wholesalers and distributors.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote Greener Crop's farm management services to potential clients, including farmers, investors, real estate companies, and food manufacturers.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the agricultural industry.

  • Identify and engage with potential buyers for our farm produce, including wholesalers and distributors.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of services and products.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities.

  • Represent Greener Crop at conferences and events, fostering brand awareness and networking opportunities.

  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and contribute to strategic planning.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in agriculture and a solid understanding of hydroponics or similar farming practices.

  • Strong network of crop buyers, wholesalers, and distributors within the agricultural sector.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and remotely.

  • Willingness to travel to conferences and events as needed.

  • Proficiency in sales techniques, market research, and business development strategies.

  • Familiarity with sustainable farming, environmental concerns, and food industry trends.

Farm Manager 1

HYDROPONIC GREENHOUSE MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Hydroponic Greenhouse Farm Manager to oversee our operation in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Farm Manager will be responsible for the daily management and efficient operation of our hydroponic greenhouse farm.

LOCATION:

Idaho Falls, ID

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing the overall management of the farm operations, including planting, nurturing, harvesting, and packaging.

  • Ensuring the proper functioning of the hydroponic systems, including regular maintenance and repair.

  • Developing and implementing farm management plans, schedules, and procedures.

  • Monitoring crop development and the removal of substandard plants to maintain quality standards.

  • Managing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and handling personnel-related matters.

  • Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

  • Analyzing and reporting on crop yields and financial performance of the farm.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in farm management, preferably in a hydroponic greenhouse setting.

  • Strong understanding of hydroponic systems and farming practices.

  • Excellent leadership and personnel management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations pertaining to farming.

  • Proficiency with technology, including agricultural software applications.

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
